"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"

Romans 3:23

Famed English poet and atheist Robert Burns, seated in a church one day next to a lovely young woman, saw her quaking response to this verse  and scribbled this short poem to her;

Fair maid you need not take the hint

Nor idle texts pursue,

"Twas only sinners that he meant

Not angels such as you"

I speak to those among you who view themselves as harmless or faultless, as "angels' who've never done anything "that bad".

My warning is stop lieing to yourselves, awaken to the danger in which you exist, repent of your sins and cry out to Jesus Christ for relief of your sin burden. Arise from you proud self content and come to Jesus the Savior.
